Our Story

Re-Employ was formed in 2016 by a Department for Work and Pensions

(DWP) Disability Employment Adviser who saw the gap created when the

state-subsidised Remploy business closed its factories. Disabled people

had secure & satisfying employment and this lifeline suddenly

disappeared. Central Fife had such a Remploy factory and our founder’s

vision & passion led her to leaving the DWP and setting up Re-Employ

near to where the factory was located, in Crosshill, Fife.
