Re-Employ: Embracing Creativity & Inclusion

Our company logo is the triskele (also known as a triskelion), an ancient symbol which is common to several regions and cultures around the world. In Celtic culture it represents the three domains of material existence - earth, water and sky.

Re-Employ uses the symbol to underline our creative credentials and signpost our three pillars.

Re-Employ’s three pillars symbolise our core culture, stability and approach to work.

Re-Employ's Three Pillars:

Supporting, Sustaining, Inspiring

Supporting

Re-Employ supports disadvantaged adults in the workplace. We provide a safe and

encouraging environment for people with disabilities, where everyone can contribute to their highest level of potential. We

work with partners to provide volunteering and training opportunities which help prepare

people to enter the work environment.

Sustaining

Re-employ was created in 2016 to provide continuity for workers when a major employer in

the area closed. Since then, we have provided sustainable social equity & inclusion

training and employment opportunities alongside full participation and engagement in our

local and wider community. Where we can, our purchases & business decisions are

environmentally aware – for instance our heating is biomass. We look to reduce our

environmental impact where we can.

Inspiring

Re-Employ is a Disability Confident Leader - the first business of any sort to achieve this accreditation in

Fife and recently renewed for another three years. We commit to maintain this leadership position

and use our knowledge and skills to help other organisations achieve this status.

We actively challenge attitudes, work to remove barriers and encourage potential.

Re-Employ's Core Values:

Care, Respect, Honesty, Teamwork, Ownership

Re-Employ has five core values and behaviours that we as a business and our team members aspire to.

We look to our friends and partners to support us in achieving our core values.

We welcome your feedback and your views as to how we’re doing.

  1. We engage everyone with care and compassion.

  2. We respect people and actively support dignity in life and the workplace.

  3. We value honesty and openness and in that supportive environment our people take responsibility for their actions.

  4. Core to our business is the promotion of teamwork and managing our quality promises.

  5. We take ownership and learn from everything we do. We share our learning experiences freely.
